In the cartoon The Cleveland Show (channel 300 at 10:00 am) I was able to see stereotypical comments of African Americans. In this case Cleveland brown gets asked a question from his kid. The question is “Cleveland do you even know the difference between an African men and an African American?” then Cleveland responds “Of course, I know Tracy Morgan is an African because of his popped belly, droopy national geographic boobies and...” When I heard this comment I was socked by how many times people have said many negative comments about minority groups and we do not pay attention. We are so used to not paying attention to this type of comments that when we do hear them we get uncomfortable and we act surprised.
