My junior year of college one of my health science classes decided to put together a flash mob for the college. As a class we had to get together and pick out t-shirt designs, music for the dance, the theme of the flash mob, and finally we had to do the dance choreography. By the end of the semester our class felt as one big family. We were able to figure out all the details together as a class without fighting or arguing. We worked well as a team. The class was pumped, we were so excited/nervous to perform in the flash mob on the big day. We had to stand randomly in the middle of the busiest parts of the school at the busiest hour, they had news casts there ready to film, and people were gathering from all angles. The class all got together, we didn’t perform the best, we certainly could have done better, but it didn’t matter, we still had fun. We realized how close we had all become and how well we worked as a team. I established leadership skills within babysitting, because in order to be a babysitter you have to be a leader. The children you, the babysitter are watching have to understand that you’re the leader and know what’s in their best interest. I’ve established leadership skills through babysitting, because when I arrive to watch the children I introduce myself, showing respect and getting to know everyone. Then, I plan the day out for the children, but understanding of any complications that may be involved. I also value how the children are treated, making sure they are taken care of to the best of my abilities. Making sure they eat when their supposed to, changed when needed, naps if necessary, and other responsibilities that there may be. I believe babysitting is a large leadership skill, because it takes a lot of understanding, patients, and skills to watch
