My past personal and professional experience over the past 30 plus years has prepared me to be an effective successful NCISD instructional coach. I have had the opportunity since a young age to be in leadership and public speaking positions. At 18 I wrote that in addition to teaching my goal was to inspire others to be the very best they could be. During college and right after I had the opportunity to coach adults one on one in the area of weight loss. Although it wasn’t in education, I learned a great deal about how to coach people effectively.
As a young teacher 27 years ago, I was given a lot of leadership and mentoring opportunities. Aldine also gave me extensive training in curriculum and development. I have been a life long learner.
