In a learning community, the teachers benefit in many ways as well as the students. Students are exposed to experience different type of communications. Teachers who work in learning communities create different learning environment where students develop different skills such as social skills, develop creativity, and independence ( Owen, 2015).Throughout my years of experience, I have learned that teacher leaders must respect other opinions and be able to hear feedback from other colleagues. In one of the videos, Antonia Cameron states that to be an effective teacher leader not only requires to communicate and work collaborative with other professionals, but requires being more self-critical as a professional, reflect on how others view your teaching practice, being willing to hear feedback from others, and being willing to engage in meaningful conversations (Laureate Education, 2008h). In my years of experience, one pitfall in creating a learning community is that some teachers might not want to work collaborative and they might become defensive and refuse to support a learning community. Another pitfall can be that some veteran teachers might refuse to take risks in creating a learning community or they might get offended because they already know how students learn. Establishing good effective communications
