2. A summary of the answers to the interview questions
• What are the most important qualities an effective leader should have? The most important qualities an effective leader should have are trustworthy, committed and a good communicator. Shawn explained to me that in order to success in life one must first gain people’s trust. The best way to gain people trust is keeping employees aware of everything that is important the company. Shawn has earn employee’s trust, by delivering results and keeping his word to what he has promised. Also, Shawn explains that he is a 100 percent committed to his employees because without them he would not have a purpose. He treats his employees the way he would want to be treated. He is commitment is bringing out the best in all of his employees. He spent most of his time out office making sure his employees are being taken care of and working alongside. Furthermore, Shawn believes that being a good communicator goes a long way as a leader. He listens to his employees keeping focusing their verbal and nonverbal language. He stated that he always talk to them in private and avoids interruptions. This way he can engage in the conversation and pay close attention to his employees’ needs.

He influences his employees to accomplish their goals in the organization. Shawn is a knowledgeable person which directs the company with his values, beliefs, and ethics serving his employees. He has empathy for employees respecting their family time when their position is 24/7. He appreciates that his followers make him a successful leader.
