According to English (1979), equal diverse hiring practices can be accomplished by ensuring that the company promotional and selection policies are examined to ensure that the organization meets both legal mandates and professional accepted standards (p. 24). Effective hiring practices require that the procedures and policies utilized by the organization for for hiring and promotional practices are constantly evaluated to ensure that the organization does not have adverse impact.
