A problem I would like to solve would be my people skills. I feel like my shyness and fear to speak holds me back fro many opportunities. Some of them being as simple as just making friends. I used to have so much confidence and talking was my favorite thing. I loved to express my feelings verbally, tell stories, and just have a common conversation. But when i entered middle school my whole demeanor changed. For part of elementary school I attended Summit Christian Academy, I loved the school and my friends there but sadly they had raised the tuition the of my fifth grade year and we could no longer afford it. During that year we decided to move to leander to be closer to my new middle school. When we moved into my new house I …show more content…
She was the only person i had met that would be attending the same school as me, sadly I had neglected her step sister and spent much more time with her. All throughout the summer we had grown close and i considered her my best friend. With coming around the corner i had to sign up for classes, we had signed up a little late so my choices were limited. Since my “best friend” was going into band, playing the flute, I decided that I would try the same thing as well since I was entering this school practically blind. It was pretty overwhelming knowing I would be entering a school with hundreds of children when I had originally came from a class of six. Come the start of school it wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. I had my best friend of course and she had introduced me to some of her friends from …show more content…
For a while things were going well and I honestly thought everything was perfect and couldn't go wrong. But one day all of the friends, including my “best friend” had just stopped talking to me. I would try to talk to them but they would just completely ignore me like i wasn't there, i had no idea what I had done, but i had lost my first friends. I wasn't as discouraged as expected i had kind of shrugged it off since i was very social and I knew i could just make new, caring friends. Which i did, in my flute class I had met

Moving schools away from all of my friends should’ve been an appalling experience, surprisingly, it was a blessing in disguise. I went to Agnes Baptist Elementary from kindergarten to 5th grade and I had friends that I've known since I was 3. I loved it there and knew the school like the back of my hand. Everything was superior, like most good things, though there were times where they weren’t, I was harassed by a bully almost everyday, my grades were getting inadequate, and my mom didn’t want me to be a sad, disconsolate 7th grader at a new junior high. In the result, I moved and I went to Savage Middle School, a school that had 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.…
