Interpersonal communication involves explaining everything clearly to the service users so they are able to understand what has been said to them. Interpersonal communication not only involves the meaning of words, the information or the message that has been conveyed, but also refers to implicit messages, if the message was intentional or not, which can be expressed through non-verbal behaviours when communicating. Non-verbal communication includes the facial expression of the individual, the tone and also the pitch of the person voice when speaking to someone, also their gesture when speaking they would display this through their body language also the distance that they would have with them and the person they are talking to they would have a physical distance between the communicators when speaking. One of the reasons are because single people or even small amount of people might be dominated than others who are in the group because of this it can make an individual or more than one person to doing what they want to do. Doing this will prevent others from speaking and also contributing so that the situation can be resolved. It can also prevent from specific roles and responsibilities that has been given to the members of the team. Also another reason is that the team members might have the same personality and might clash with the other team members. Also people cannot work with others without having a disagreement with one of the team members this is due because people will not have the same values, and also morals. An example of this is in meetings they discuss about a patient learning disabilities and their needs so different care practitioners will come together to discuss about it there will some practitioners that have different priorities from others. Such as a practitioner might want work on the patient’s social skill where as another practitioner might want work on patient’s specific needs and their diet.
