PROBLEMS WITH FOOTBALL There is a major problem in youth football leagues that's why some people call it “Daddy Ball” It’s where the coach a.k.a someone’s dad puts their son in a position that they maybe aren’t that great in and blame it on the offensive line and or the fullback for not blocking someone or missing a block. This problem is a big problem and it affects players who know that they are good at that position and they want to try out for it but the coach doesn’t think that their fit for it.…
It is clear that the Brady and Jastremski are both aware about the issue and wanted to talk about it. It’s important to note that in the 20 years that Jastremski has worked for the Patriots, he had never met with Brady in the quarterback room. He also said that the meeting only lasted a few minutes and walked out a happy man because Brady had praised and thank him for the preparation of the footballs for the AFC Championship Game. He said they did not discuss anything relating to the deflation of game balls during the meeting. To evaluate the data collected on the day of the AFC Championship Game and test the likelihood that the Patriots did or did not tamper with the game balls, Ted Wells brought in a team from Exponent, one of the leading scientific and engineering consulting firms in the country, which included Dr. Daniel R. Marlow, who is a Physics professor at Princeton University and former Chairman of the Physics Department.…
Is it science or cheating? That has been the big question for a lot of football fans for the previous four months. It only takes one word for football fans to either roll their eyes or start an argument. What is this I am talking about? Deflategate.…

The reason is the helmets and they had little padding. But helmets evolution is the main priority, but helmets back then were made of a soft leather and they were called ‘’ head harnesses’’…

One of the most popular sports in the United States today, is football. The National Football League games are watched by millions of people during the football season. Football is a tough sport. It seems as if every time a game is played there is at least one or two hard hits, sometimes even more. We, as spectators, instinctively admire these hits, but rarely think about the long term effects that the players might face from such hits. This is largely due to the fact that spectators are blinded by coaches, officials, and players from the serious side effects and repercussions. Only recently has the public population found that there are more harsh and serious long term side effects from football than we have been led to believe.…
American football has benefitted significantly with regard to safety and prevention of sports impact injuries. The first effort to combat head injuries was in 1943 when the NFL first required players to start wearing basic, soft leathered helmets without any sort of facemask (Breech). In the 1950s, NFL players started wearing plastic helmets with single facemask bars (Breech). Variations of the plastic helmets with more facemask bars were worn up until the 1980s, when the first polycarbonate helmets, which are still worn today, were introduced (Breech). The helmet has seen great change over the past 73 years since the first leather ones, but it is not until now that efforts are being made to create a helmet that prevents concussions.…
The fourth cause is physical contact, and when playing a sport that involves physical contact there is a chance that there is going to be some injuries. The term for sports that involve physical contact are called contact sports. One example of a contact sport is American football, and the goal of this sport is one team has to try to get the ball to the other side of the field so it can be counted as a touchdown. Sometimes this involves a player to tackle another opponent player in order to protect their fellow teammate which has the ball, so they can get to the other side of the field to make the touchdown. And sometimes they have to tackle in order to protect their teammates which means that the person getting tackled could get a concussion.…
Properly fitting helmets can also make a huge difference when it comes to the prevention of concussions. The right helmet can do a lot for you and can significantly reduce how much your head may shake when it is rattled up. According to the American Academy of Neurology, helmets are actually doing little to protect side head hits and rotational force. The AAN conducted several tests to compare brands of football helmets and what kind of force they can encounter. The studies were drop tests with the helmets and then with force sensors inside the helmet.…
