I agree that the W2 is not the best way to accurately measure annual income to discover the possibility of pay discrimination. The EEOC would have to look at more than just base pay at my job. Our base pay is different depending on the person’s pay grade and how long they have been employed. For the most part, the base pay increases every two years. At my job, the EEOC would also have to know how long an individual has been an employee with the company.
