He ruins the world. He gains their trust, then breaks it for naught but his own sake of mind. He says he’s qualified, but he’s not in the records. He sits there, protected, gathering more and more money, until he gets enough, then ruins them and leaves. He says he loves his motherland, but seeks asylum in another country instead of trusting in the court system of the one he says he loves so much. He says he wishes to “protect-his-country”, but shows records of it monitoring others in case they ever attack. He comes from a line of patriots, but abandons his country at the first inconvenient truth. He wishes for peace- and if he can’t have that, then to fight for his country- but courts war, with himself as the cause. He’s not dangerous for what he believes in (many people think the same way he does), he’s dangerous because of how far he’ll go for it. He’s not dangerous because of his actions (though they were dangerous actions), he’s dangerous because he might do it again. He’s let out many, many secrets--and we’re not even completely sure the exact amount-- and he’s still abroad today. He’s a hard-boiled traitor, willing to whisk everyone away if he get’s his share of the meal. He’s spilled, according to various sources--such as Australia, Britain, the NSA, and the Department of Defense-- anywhere from 15,000 to 1.7 million files. And that’s not all (though that is most certainly enough), since he evaluated each-and every file for “the-big-impact”. Where’s his so called “patriotism” (it’s clear he has none) in the private information upon pieces of dead wood floating around?
