religion is a set of sacred beliefs, feelings and practices, that have been passed from the one generation to the next one, which relates us humans with something divine. The opinion varies from person to person, place to place and religion to religion. Religion has always been hard to define maybe because of its political nature, but mostly because of the varied human beliefs and perspectives. Different people will have a different understanding of religion. That is probably why many people debate about the origin of religion.
Among all the beliefs and theories out there I believe Edward Burnett Tylor provides the best and logical explanation of religion. He defined religion as a belief in spiritual beings. His explanation for religion is
