Star Child Learning Development Center hopes to make the transition of getting to and from work a less strenuous process everyday by providing the hours that we provide to our families.

Being that we set out to service the community, the vision of Star Child Learning Development Center is to promote strength within the community and to help build strong and stable families so that every person has an equal opportunity to successfully reach his or her full potential, and also where public policies and personal values give the highest priority to health and the whole individual. Our mission here at Star Child Learning Development Center is to provide excellent individualized inclusive services that will empower children with the overall goal of promoting sound development and social growth of children of all ages, ethnicity and income. Our philosophy here at Star Child Learning Development Center supports the belief that parents are a child’s very first teacher. Our role is to provide high quality child development experiences for the child and to support good parenting skills by helping families set and reach personal, family and career goals.

The curriculum model that will be used is the Creative Curriculum which is a curriculum that balances both teachers planned and child initiated learning, emphasizing responsiveness to children’s strengths, interests, needs and learning styles. The Creative Curriculum discusses the five components
