Education is a demand in children's growth life. The point is that education guides all the power of nature on learners that as a person and community members can reach the safety and life happiness of the highest knowledge (KI Hajar Dewantara). Based on the explanation, in order to be able to reach the safety and life happiness of the highest knowledge will be for learners to get the best education that is available. In the world, different regions have different education systems and attitudes. It will be beneficial to compare and find the best educational attitudes, in order to minimize the subject, Western and Eastern will be chosen as subject in comparing the educational attitudes. In America, they are able to maintain both professional behavior in the classroom and informal behavior when they are outside of the classroom. It is very different compared to teacher-student relationship in Indonesia. Students will act casually when their teachers are their neighbors.
Stage in learning responsibilities will be divided into two, they are independent and dependent learning. Americans used independent learning in which they believe that the responsibility in how much knowledge students have is in the hands of students themselves. It is very frustrating for students who strive to be the best when their assignments are not marked or scored because teachers do not believe that it is necessary to marked every assignment. While in Indonesia, it has become a very big motivation for students in doing assignments. They have high hope in learning to have high score.
Making healthy competition happens is very important to motivate students. In America, a grading curve is used which makes students reluctant to help others in fear that their own grade will be bad. While in Indonesia, it has become an unspoken rule to help others. They may become isolated if they choose to keep their knowledge and not help
