College helps people get better jobs. In the article “Education Still Pays,” there is a chart that shows that college graduates make more money than non-college graduates. “... in 2010, the unemployment rates was 9.2 percent for those with only some college and more than 10 percent for those with just a high school degree, but it was 5.4 percent for college graduates” (Rotherham 85). If you’re unemployed, you can’t get the things that is essential for you to keep being alive. However, if you go to college, the chance of you being unemployed would be lower.
