Nowadays, I believe that the development of education is very fast. Moreover, education became the most important thing people must get, if they want to get a job opportunity in this globalization era. However, what is the meaning of education? It is “the knowledge or skill obtained or developed by a learning process” (The Free Dictionary, 2014). People can get an education wherever and whenever they are such as family or school education. As we know, the highest level of education in the school followed by people is University. Beside learn an education, university student also can learn how to become solve problems by themselves. In contrast, the education style in university level between countries is very different. For example, like Indonesia and New Zealand. Although it was different, the education style in …show more content…
Commonly, student in Indonesia start their university class so early. Preparing to go to school from 6am-7am, they start to study in class at 8am until 10am. It takes 2 hours study in the class per paper for student. If they take until 4 papers, they will study in the class 8 hours per day. In addition, student in Indonesia didn’t have a holiday either Wednesday or Saturday for degree level. It is very difficult for them if they want to have a part time job. As a result, University student in Indonesia just focus for their class and assignment every day. No experience they can get to have a part time job activity. Different from Indonesia, New Zealand has fewer hours for student in University level. Student in New Zealand starts to study in the class at 9am until 10.30am. Furthermore, they have two holidays for degree student. One in Wednesday and another one is in Saturday. In consequence, they have more time to focus on their assignment and also can have an experience of taking part time job. They also can learn how to get money, save it, and use it wisely from taking part time
