This quote shows me that while the school believes they’re doing what’s right Pensky thinks they're going about it in all the wrong ways. While the schools are supplying “test takers” Pensky believes that society needs students trained to adjust and adapt to changing societal needs. The kind of students that Pensky promotes will be able to fit easier into a society. This quote also confirms my belief that education is aiming for the wrong kind of graduate, the type of graduate that feels entirely comfortable in the classroom in front of a test but at a disadvantage in real world skills.
