Education Chairman – An Overview
The Education Chairman creates and implements a year-long, comprehensive program for the chapter. The program is designed to enhance membership by providing an understanding of Kappa Kappa Gamma’s purposes and ideals and promoting intellectual development and personal growth. The program also provides leadership and skill-building activities.

Role of Education Chairman:
➢ Develop a comprehensive, year-long educational program designed to educate chapter members about leadership, personal development, women’s issues and cultural programming, using Pathways, Not Anymore, Every Member Education, as well as other Fraternity, campus and internet resources.
➢ Enhance membership by providing all members with an understanding

The Education Committee should inform the graduating seniors of the benefit of paying their annual fees to Fraternity Headquarters and assist them in paying their dues online.

➢ Five Components of the Senior Program.
One: Senior Orientation. Conducted within first three weeks of the fall term, or in the spring, if necessary. Seniors review and sign Senior Agreements. Education Chair distributes and collects Senior Surveys and presents on the Senior Program.
Two: Senior Programming Night. On topic of seniors’ choice relevant to their personal, professional or academic interests. Coordinate with the Education Committee and seniors, using campus, community and alumnae resources as necessary. May occur in fall or spring.
Three: Senior Sisterhood. Activity of seniors’ choice within chapter budget. Coordinate with the Education Committee and seniors. Must follow all Risk Management Policies and procedures. May occur in fall or spring.
Four: Chapter-Senior Recognition. May be weekly or monthly (Senior Spotlight, etc.) or one-time event giving seniors the chance to reflect on their Kappa experience and the chapter an opportunity to celebrate their
