At iSchool High students have the freedom to take college classes through the Lone Star college system at no cost to the students what so ever. The students of iSchool High are able to do this because the school is conveniently located on the Lone Star campus, therefore the students sign out of there high school and walk across campus to attend their college classes. Compare this to Magnolia West where the students have the opportunity to take AP classes taught by a high school teacher at the high school campus. Students can gain college credits this way but they do not gain college experience or a true understanding of the workload involved in full credit classes. At Magnolia West students are also required to pay for their AP test at the end of the year. This test is what determines if the student will or will not get the credit for the class.
