Edmund Kemper was born on December 18th, 1948 in the town of Burbank, California as a middle child of E.E. and Clarnell Kemper. As a child, his parents divorced in the year 1957. After their divorce, Kemper moved out to live with his mother and two sisters in Montana. This was a difficult decision for him to make due to his mother’s condition. Growing up, his mother suffered from alcoholism. Due to his mother’s condition, most of Kemper’s problems fell back onto his mother becoming the cause of blame for any misconception. At only the age of 10, Kemper’s sisters began to fear him. He was then forced to live in his own basement in Montana. Ed Kemper’s imagination began to flaw at a very young age.
