On top of being able to recognize a psychopath, you should know if the offender you are dealing with is sadistic in nature. Sadism, in a sense is legal when it is shared between two consenting adults. It is when there is not the mutual consent that we have a problem. A sadistic killer is someone who gets arousal/ pleasure through the intentional infliction of pain and suffering on someone else (they do the inflicting). The process this killer undergoes in the act of killing may include torture, mutilation, domination, bondage, and controlling/ fear inducing threats.
