How Does Grief Affect Poe's Life

Edgar Allan Poe was an extremely deep writer in many of his story.Though in many of his story were written and effected by his real personal life. A lot of Poe's stories or poems included things based on his life in a different form of how he felt. Poe added lots of detail in his stories about how he wanted to get revenge on many accurinses in his life. Poe also had lots of madness in his stories of strange things as if they really happen. Though he also had many crazy books a lot of the books showed how Poe was very depressed and had a lot of grief. These are many of the ways Edgar Allan Poe's personal events in his life has really affected him.
Further on, in many of Poe's stories he explains in his own ways on how he wish or want to get revenge.The cask of the Amontillado shows a way of getting revenge as if Poe was in real life. The first story that explained how Poe dealt with grief and depression was called “ the Black Cat”. “The Black Cat was about a man who was mad and had killed his cat and his wife. When the man had killed his cat, he felt very sad and guilty, after that he started to feel sad which then he started to drink lots, and lots, of alcohol. In Poe's real life he got rid of his problems by drinking just liked he explained in his stories. Another story that had shown a way of Poe's depression was In the Poem the “Raven”. In this poem has lost a loved one which he names Lenore. Poes explains in this poem that he will never be reunited with his love Lenore. Which for him in his life feels like it is true.
