"Edgar Allan Poe" Poe had a hard childhood since his mother died when he was two and he fathered disappeared. Since all that happened he was raised as a foster child by Frances Allan and her husband John Allan. Later on he enrolled at the university of Virginia. At eighteen Poe went to Boston, where he published his first volume of poems.
In 1831 Poe published a new collection of poems. It has also seemed as if he spent the next four years at his aunt's house in Baltimore. Later on Poe married Virginia in 1836 and built a household in 1837. After a few years in Virginia died of tuberculosis in 1847. Poe later died in Baltimore because he died of delirium which is an acute congestion of the brain.
