My theory about Edgar Allan Poe’s death is that he died from heart disease, specifically congenital heart disease (CHD). There are many theories and clues to lead up to how and why he died. Heart disease is the only logical one the following clues will prove my theory. Clue #1 in May 1848 a doctor diagnosed that poe had heart problems. Which this happens to be the most obvious clue. Clue #2 without an autopsy (examination after death) nothing could be proven, lack of advanced medicine and technology also affect this. Clue #3 a witness said a few months before he died he was really pale. Paleness is a symptom of CHD. Clue #4 he had difficulty eating and swallowing, CHD has cause body organs to swell (like his esophagus). Clue #5 CHD develops
