Dreams are a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person’s mind during sleep. “If you can Dream it you can do it.” By Walt Disney. This is what the poem mainly is about having dreams and remembering your childhood like never before, or wanting to change the dreams you had set in the past as a child. Edgar Allan poe had a difficult childhood that cannot be changed ever again. This is what Edgar wanted to do with his dreams change the past.
The poem is mainly about dreams. Edgar Allan Poe made the poem about historical events from his past. The most concept about the poem would have to be that great to think about in the future. The literary era of the poem dreams is romanticism and was published in 1903 mostly all of Edgar Allan Poe poems

Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 in Boston, massachusetts to Elizabeth Arnold Poe and David Poe Jr. His parents were traveling actors. The family was dirt poor. By 1811 edgar’s father had abandoned the family, leaving the mother with a two-year-old Edgar, his elder brother Henry, and his infant sister Rosalie. Then tragedy striated on December the 8th of 1811, elizabeth Edgar mother died of tuberculosis in Richmond virginia. Then things got worse, someone brought news about edgar’s father, david Poe had also died of the same disease within days of estranged wife.The three Poe kids got separated into different families. Henry the eldest was sent off to live with his paternal grandparents. Sister Rosalie was adopted by the Mackenzie family of Richmond. The last one was Edgar he was taken in by the family John and Frances allan, a well-to-do richmond couple unable to have children of their own. Edgar added his foster family’s name to his own, becoming Edgar Allan Poe. Edgar’s foster father was John allan a successful merchant, and Edgar grew up fairly
