Ecuador Ecuador has fairly warm weather, you would enjoy it. Ecuador is located in South America along the top. “Ecuador is blessed with an abundance of plant and animal life”-Foley page. 2 There is much more to learn about Ecuador’s geography, climate, government, economy, and its culture. The country of Ecuador consist of many land and water features. Ecuador has a mountain range called “Sierra” often called the “Avenue of Volcanoes” La Costa is another land form. It is a flat plain. The Napo River is just above Ecuador, it ends up flowing into the Esmeraldas River. The North Pacific Ocean is pretty close to Ecuador. The main language is Spanish. Ecuador has a very strict dress code. Men wear pants and a long shirt. Women wear long, colorful dresses. Food is known as strange for people that aren’t used to it, yet very tasty. Like lemon shrimp and grilled corn with barbecue Ecuador doesn’t have just one culture. There are many but they all add up. According to these facts Ecuador has many different types of culture but still strict on a certain way. Ecuador has very many unique characteristics. The national tree is a Cinchona tree. It produces Quinine which is also a drug. Ecuador is one of the two countries that doesn’t share a border with Brazil. This country is the largest export of bananas in the world. It is also one of the most visited countries. In conclusion this country has many interesting facts that set it apart from other countries Ecuador is a strong country with warm weather, and many water features.
