As I crept into my room, where I could see Scilla’s foot sticking out from under my bed like a sore thumb,I tagged her and ran. Then she bolted after me down the hall, so I u turned and exploded back into my room, jumping under my covers where scilla couldn’t find me. So she laid down next to what she thought was a pillow and she started to snore.

So I said,‘Are you sleeping silly?’ and she was so I rolled her into my bed and cuddled with my cute little Staffordshire terrier puppy. Suddenly it was dark outside, and I was super hungry so I opened up a new bag of red hot spicy nacho doritos and me and my dog ate all of them. But we didn’t have another bag to eat, so we played hide and seek.

Drug laws play a vital role in American society because drug use is an unfortunate part of the culture. Regardless of one’s views on whether some currently illegal drugs should be treated differently than others, the fact is that at this point all non-prescription drugs are illegal, and the government is responsible for responding to public outcry on this issue whether it be the legalization of recreational drugs like marijuana or the perceived injustices handed down to non-violent drug offenders. The serious nature of our country’s drug epidemic makes the topic of drug laws one that must be addressed by all branches of the US Government; the President is calling for legalization of recreational marijuana, congress is passing groundbreaking…

In the United States something as simple as a drug possession charge can get you into serious trouble, with some offenses even marked as felonies. (Controlled Substances Act, 2014) This is a ludicrous idea, drug crimes are usually victimless, restricting drug usage violates basic human rights, and even tobacco and alcohol are legal. In addition to these things, putting drug charges on a person’s criminal record, or sending someone to jail on drug charges pushes more people to a life of crime. For these reasons, I believe that people should not be punished for using drugs.…
