Between Ecotopia and the rest of the United States, there has always been issues, ever since the beginning of their separation in 1980. Ecotopia started to create a more well-balanced nation where nothing could come against their land. The community formed a powerful government that listened to the people and gave its time and energy into creating a land thats best for everyone. The United States kept searching for answers on what was going on in the other side of the border which held ( Northern California, Washington, and Oregon). The U.S government has been struggling to maintain their wealth with the many wars they have been in, for example, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. There was Vera Alween who was a California State senator who was angered by the Eastern food corporation for not selling fresh products anymore which led her to start a group known as the survivalist party. Another was a young high schooler who created a way to generate electricity from seawater . They began to lead a way to the place we known as Ecotopia. A few events happened which made this revanchism work. Since the issues caused by a nuclear accident and water issues caused by contamination. This started to create ripple effects which creates ecotopia. for example, A U.S poet said, “If ever the search for a tranquil belief should end,The future might stop emerging out of the past, Out of what is full of us; yet the search And the future emerging out of us seem to be one.” Everything comes down to the decisions that not only the decisions maker makes but, of the people it would affect because that is the only way anything is going to get done if you have the people behind you. A government does not solely work for its own well-being but the for the other as well. Where you see your investments flourish you smile, and when you see them go rock bottom, you question why. Well, that is just life not everything can be a high moment for you and you are bound to get past any other time of you being down. As an economy is a mixed on two things as an ecological and political one which sort of balances it but at the same time creates a hole in it by the chaotic process of taking over farms and factories. While the public transportation did not only create a manageable way of moving around the city but at the same time it consumes by many resources as well. The economy may have answers to the population but the true issues is the advancements of citizens.
As the states of Ecotopia grow in a sustainable land and government that is not really the case in the views of the people because they don 't have anything to lock forward too. Everything is the same and theirs is no higher class and every one has equal rights. Which is unfair because people who aren 't working aren 't gaining anything economically. The ecotopian say this ‘Individuals don’t perhaps stand out as sharply as we do.… Nobody is as essential (or as expendable) here as with us.’ A government is good but it 's not strong without the people 's
