Choosing on what is more important between reducing inequality or increasing economic growth, is answered upon your class stratification I believe. In my opinion I believe increasing economic growth is more important than reducing inequality. Because even if you take all the money from the wealth’s and distributed equally to every classes, eventually all the money will find their way back to the higher class or one percent.
