An economic geographer focuses on maps involving distribution, production, and consumption services and goods. (imports and exports). Physical geographers focus on the locations of natural features like lakes, mountains rivers, forests, as well as cities, and country borders. These jobs are similar because they are both geographers, and because they both work with maps. They are different because one works on the landforms and boundaries of earth where the other works with the economic like trade industry and money.
