In this dissertation, we follow the transformational life of a Participant A, who has shared the process of learning and developing with the GreenWave alongside numerous other participants’ who all have had remarkable experiences in life. The author had access to two decades of written journals as part of the evaluation process for Participant A. Comparable experiences by others in the Applied Ecopsychology field traverses more than fifty years in literature validating how others have also began to weave transformation into their own lives. On an individual level, this validation is confirmation of another individual’s internal experiences as having worth and being able to live their truth. Emotional validation provides a sense of self-worth and sense of belonging because what a person senses or feels is seen as valid, whereas emotional nullification takes someone else’s experiences and encounters as having no value, hence whatever emotions one might have sensed then becomes scorned, rejected, ignored or judged and holds no value or importance. While assembling and composing the background of Participant A, it slowly became self-evident that an acceptance became a means of creating a sense of belonging and having value in the natural world especially emotionally. As a result, self-validation began to emerge, become acknowledged, expressed throughout time, and turn into acceptance through each of the innermost experiences
