My first month of college didn't go exactly as planned. On the plane ride moving from Maui to Florida to attend Eckerd College I became very sick. For the next 4 weeks I spent most of my time on my grandparents couch and in the hospital when I was supposed to be starting my college career at Eckerd. Autumn term is the first month of freshman year which I had completely missed out on due to being sick. It is a three week class freshmen are required to take that acts as an orientation to help students adjust to the college lifestyle. Graduating from high school, my plan was to become an international business major. So, I was thinking about all the classes a freshmen should be taking in order to be on an International Business track. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do for my profession in the future, but I knew that it would be something to do with business. My parents inspired and motivated me to pick this as my major since they are both very successful in this field.
