1. Echo Company does not have the technology required to be fully mission capable in theater. The (FBCB2) have been shown to be very useful and greatly increase the situational awareness of the Soldiers on the ground.

2. The impact of this equipment shortfall will negatively impact the mission effectiveness of Echo Company. To be outfitted with the (FBCB2) will allow communication, track, and graphically depict friendly forces on the battlefield. Being equipped with this technology would be critical for supplies and support get to the troops on the front lines. Additionally it allows for the commanders to track vehicle positions in real time. This equipment shortfall could lead to operation opportunities missed and lives lost.
