It is increasingly clear that the cultural barriers are as important as the organizational and personal factors to implementing evidence EBP. Most of the research demonstrated that the working culture within organizations stresses on the need to abide by hierarchy and to keep in harmony with others (Williams, Perillo and Brown,2015). On the other hand, nurses need to feel that they have the autonomy and power to enact change in the current practice within their organization (Karin et al, 2009).
