I choose this article for our team because the new wave of technology in health care is in our near future. The demand for quality health care is no longer all that patients, and members require from their physicians and clinicians. More and more patients require the need to feel heard and understood and less like a number statistic or guinea pig when they speak with their physician or go to an appointment. With most people and their day to day lives, who has the time or can afford to take a whole day from work just to spend 15-20 minutes to speak with a doctor? I think it discusses an area of health care that many people can relate to and understand. I think nursing and the quality of care that nurses provide is the key to happiness in health care consumers since nurses spend the most time with the patients. This article discusses a fundamental question of how consumers define high-quality health care and nursing care and what attributes, in particular, are of the most importance to patients and consumers.
I also think this article would be a good one to use for this project because it clearly outlines the answers to all the sections that we must complete.
