The incubation period is anywhere from 2-21 days. A person remains contagious until they exhibit no more symptoms of the virus and even then, a man’s semen can still carry the virus for many weeks after his symptom’s have subsided
Up until early August there were no recorded human cases of Ebola in the United States. But when a sick doctor and a missionary that were doing relief work in Liberia contracted Ebola, the doctor and missionary were allowed to come home to the United States to be given treatment (Rubin, August 21,2014).
