The Ebola Virus is a serious illness and if it is not treated right away, it is very likely that you might die from it. The Ebola Virus first appeared in 1976 in the Dominican Republic and Sudan. The disease occurred in a village near the Ebola River, where the disease gets its name. The newest outbreak of this virus was in West Africa and the first cases of symptoms were recorded in March of 2014. The newest case of the virus is the most dangerous occurrence since the virus was discovered in 1976. There are more than 2,500 deaths related to the Ebola outbreak. It has spread through the countries of Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria, and Senegal through only 2 travelers. The most damaged countries, Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia all have very weak health care systems. The people with the worst kind of symptoms can only be treated and all of the others just have to wait it out.
