Scrooge started a business of loans. He would lend money to people for a higher return. He started this bussiness with his best friend Marley. But yet again, tragedy struck. Marley died on Christmas, leaving Scrooge to run the business all by himself. Scrooge earned a fortune, but never spent any of his money. All the tragedy, all the sorrow had built up. Scrooge hated Christmas. It was a time he never got to spend with his family. It was a time that his best friend had been killed. He hated Christmas, and he hated see people celebrating his pain. He was called stingy, grumpy, and cruel. But no one ever knew why he was like this. No one talked to him. No one even said hi. They knew that he would just find a way to make things negative. We want to thank Mr. Scrooge’s nephew for telling us these things to make sure people know that he was not mean, he was miserable in his own life. He was lonely, heartbroken, and depressed. There was on way for him to express his misery than to take it out on others. We know that Scrooge had a mostly sad life, but for some reason, Scrooge changed. No one knows what happened, or why he changed, but he did. He forgot his pain, he realized joy. He started to spread joy. Scrooge re-connected with his family. He changed his attitude towards money. He went from being the most hated and miserable person, to the most loved person in London. He left behind his pain, and spread joy in the world. His funeral will be held in Queen Victoria place, Kensington Palace. The Queen will honor him for his kindness and attitude towards life. The funeral will be held December 30, 1814 at 12:00 pm.
