A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is the story of the events that occured in the life of Ebenezer Scrooge. Scrooge is a mean spirited old man who only cares about himself, and his money He has little concern about any of his surrounding or the people in his life. In the story Scrooge is visited three unlikely guests, they are the ghosts of Christmas past, present and the yet to come or the future. As a result of these visits Scrooge turns his life around and finds the true meaning of Christmas.

The ghost brings Scrooge to see the family of one of his employees, Bob Cratchit. The ghost shows Scrooge Bobs’ son named Tiny Tim. Scrooge is impressed with Tims’ kindness and happiness that he shows. After the visit to see Bobs’ family the ghost takes Scrooge to a gathering with his nephew with his nephews friends and girlfriend, during that visit he sees that all of the people who showed for the gathering had harsh feelings for Scrooge, and they expressed them to each other. Scrooge sees what others think about him. After the gathering the ghost of Christmas yet to come brought Scrooge to the future, he sees many people very happy, he even sees a couple selling his goods from his shop and again he sees what others think about him. In addition he sees that Tiny Tim has died because Scrooge did not supply the family with enough money to give Tim enough money to get him medical attention. After he visited the couple he is brought to a gravestone of a man who recently died. He then opens the coffin to see that the person who died was him. He begged the spirit to give him a second chance to change and that if he did he would honor the spirit of Christmas and always too always show kindness and generosity.
