Eben Dying Research Paper

There have been many deaths and adversities in my life, however, none affected me like the death of my cousin’s baby and my current home situation. In 2012, my cousin’s baby Eben died. He was only four months old and died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). I have always been told everything happens for a reason, but there is no reason that the life of an innocent baby should be taken away so young. Not only is there not a reason for Eben dying, but my cousin Rachel’s parents are already both deceased. Her mom died in 2005 when Rachel was 21 and her father died in 2008 when she was 24. It just kills me how loved ones get ripped away from the nicest, most down to earth person I have ever met. I needed to make something of myself and not waste my time. I have been given time when Eben has not. Thankfully this has affected me in a good way through taking a vow for Eben to use my time wisely, and not staying in the grieving process for an extended period of time for it to reflect on my grades. When my sister was 18, she had a baby. We are eleven years apart, so I was seven at the birth of her first child. She is now 29 and has three children. Periodically growing up she has moved back in with my mother when she loses her way. Which is fine, we love to help her. But this year, my senior year, my mom and I live in a tiny two-bedroo apartment. My sister and her three kids live in my living room, which makes things very cramped, loud, and tense for everyone. My sister also has mental disorders, such as bipolar disorder, severe psychotic depression (also known as depressive psychosis), extreme anxiety, and other disorders like Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Her medicines often
