When looking at my sleep patterns and bedtime routines, I do some positive things. Allowing myself enough time to get my full eight hours, is the biggest positive thing I do. I plan out my week to allow for enough sleeping time most every night. On most nights, I did get my full eight hours of sleep. Another positive activity I do is relaxing before bed. I usually like to shower before I go to bed, but showering right before bed can cause sleeping problems due to the body’s temperature changing. I try to avoid looking at my phone since the light can negatively impact falling asleep. Relaxing is also essential in order to fully clear my mind, which is obviously beneficial when trying to get to sleep. When answering the question related to sleeping disorder, I answered yes to two of them. As already mentioned, sometimes I wake up not refreshed. I believe that this is due to poor sleeping habits and practices as previously stated. The other question I said yes to regards to dozing off while watching TV, reading, and other activities during the day. I tend to occasionally doze off in the afternoon after I eat lunch. Usually this happens after I eat a large meal and have a little time in-between daily activities. Another reason why I think this happens is because I am so busy throughout the day and sometimes feel wore down in the early afternoon. Therefore, I do not think this is due to a sleeping disorder. In response to the second critical question, I do not think I need to see a doctor about my sleeping quality. I think I can make the adequate changes by myself to ensure good sleeping patterns. In response to the third critical thinking question, I believe I am meeting my sleeping needs. If I thought otherwise, I believe I would be able to employ effective measures to
