It was a warm summer evening in east Corte Madera the setting sun cast long shadows over front yards as I walked through the suburban street. I was going with some friends to hang out at a small grassy park with basketball hoops by my house. we walked down the road to the basketball hoops in the park were our other friends were waiting for us. We said hello and set up teams for basketball, I was the worst one, but I didn’t care. The hours flew by as we played games, basketball, and even just talked under the setting sun. But something felt wrong, like someone was watching me.
