How would a parent feel if her baby was on fire due to the rising temperatures? A real event happening despite most people unawareness of it happens to be global warming. This phenomena portray catastrophic events for earth's future. Scientists conclude that from the many studies done on this topic, not many people take into account what their findings show. This shows that global warming really occurs and scientists have evidence to back it up. Global warming apparently has become a rising concern in the world and it may affect people more than they realize.
From the evidence collected on this controversial subject, scientists have concluded their own ideas on why this could be happening. …show more content…
This occurs due to the fact that there are many things released into the atmosphere such as greenhouse gases. One of the most influential gases of them all happens to be carbon dioxide. There has been evidence linked to this greenhouse gas that affects the temperature of Earth. “The first line of evidence is our basic physical understanding of how greenhouse gases trap heat, how the climate system responds to increases in greenhouse gases, and how other human and natural factors influence climate” ("Friends of Science | The Myths and Facts of Global Warming."). With more carbon dioxide there seems to be a dramatic increase in temperatures. This gas created by human activities like the burning of fossil fuels, which normally used to generate heat, electricity, and provide energy for much of daily transportation. Sadly, there has not been an actual alternative that produces much cleaner energy that the majority of the globe will conform to using. The greenhouse gases trap much of the heat that the sun radiates toward Earth and if the layer of the gases grows thicker it then traps more heat than what it is …show more content…
Slight changes in temperature from this can make the world hotter as well as destroy ecosystems and environments globally. Polar bears have a chance of losing their cold homes since this phenomena carries a chance of melting the polar caps. The rapid increase in temperature may cause a large amount of water to be released from glaciers. These are possible events that could happen in the future. But, as for the current impact, agriculture faces a greater risk of a decreased productivity in the levels of crops produced if there is not much water present due to hotter
