Seasons occur by the tilt of the Earths axis which makes the hot summers and the cold winters. Since it takes 24 hours for the earth to rotate the moon that's how night and day occur. Earth rotates on sunny side which we experience day while other side experience night (darkness).This is why Uv rays are much stronger in Summer time because the sun rays are very direct. Not only does Earth do rotations around the sun the other planets do as well!! Neither Earth or create their own sunlight they rely on the sun
