“It has been five days since I was sent to Earth One on an assignment. So far it has been a success. I look over at the man who had been questioning me and I noticed he was on the phone. There is no doubt in my mind as to whom he is calling: the police. These people are afraid of us because we are different; they don’t accept us here. I hear sirens off in the distance coming this way so I run. I don’t know where I’m going, but my legs carry me through the billions of people who have gathered outside the small town square. I need to get home. The my entrance to the gateway is hidden in a lake about eight miles deep into the forest. I don’t have time to find the exact spot I must enter the woods and with the cops like dogs on my trail, I have no choice but to enter the first spot i come to. I enter the woods just before the cop cars reach me and I keep running until I lose sight of the town. As I stop to catch my breath, the trees rustle in the evening breeze. I always loved the way trees sound when the wind touches its leaves. When I feel I am good enough to continue, I walk deeper into the woods. The cops wont catch me if I stay in the thick areas and I might even be able to the lake this
