Considering the methods of early term removal, brings about the physical side effects that the patient might experience. Some of the aftermath will most likely be experienced two to four weeks from the day of treatment. First of all, the patient might have abdominal pain and cramping. These factors appear to be the most common in addition to nausea and vomiting. Serious complications occur only one out of one hundred first trimester abortions. The side effects mentioned above are expected by physicians, but any patient that has an abortion risks for more severe complications such as: infection, scarring of the uterine lining, perforation of the uterus, damage to other organs, and in the absolute worst cases death.
