Early Horses Vs Modern Horse Research Paper

Both early horse and modern horse have displayed a strong herd instinct to survive and reproduce . The modern horse has retained the same survival instincts , it will take flight (gallop away/bolt) if frightened .
They maintain the same traits as a group of horse’s in a field or in the case of wild horse’s such as wild Mustang’s or Camargue horse’s. For example – if one horse takes flight the others will follow . If unable to take flight self-preservation instincts such as biting or kicking may occur.
You will notice horse’s in a field showing the same traits as wild early horse with acting out herd behaviour resulting in a dominant horse and others forming a pecking order or hierarchy . Both early and modern horse favour being around other
