Summary: Child Observation

The child that I will be observing is Miss M and she is a female and she is 4 years’ old, I got permission from Miss M’s mom Mrs. K to do the observation and the interview at the daycare that is a preschool too. The observation will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 10:30 a.m. The adult that I will be interviewing and observing with the child is Mrs. T. The mother Mrs. T said “Miss. S has been a little whinny because she did not want mom to leave this morning. Mrs. T says, “but she got over it and was happy now and in a good mood.” Mrs. T also stated that Miss. M is quite but when she is excited and talks she stutters. The teacher said, “that is why she does not talk much because she is embarrassed when she stutters”. Miss M stated, I like cooking.” And she said, “I will make a cookies.” She stated flour, sugar, milk, and eggs make a cookie. Miss M made a cookie, and then she realized she said a cookie and she said cookies. and shared it with the three girls Miss M said to one little girl that was sister, “Would you like a roll or a bread to eat?” The sister stated,” yes but can I have cheese?” Miss M stated, “No cheese today.” The other girl that was the daughter said, I found yellow cheese.” Miss M stated to daughter, “Would you like yellow. The other little girl stated yes. Miss M said,” I like yellow.” They were all friends in housekeeping area. The more Miss. M played with the girls the more she was not stuttering as much. Miss M said, I love my friends and they are nice and they are pretty.” The girls really liked it when Miss. M said they were pretty. Miss M said, My good family. “I did observe Miss S. asking appropriate questions with the children. She kept a conversations going with the different girls in housekeeping. She clearly states her intentions were to make cookies and she gave the ingredients and made them for the girls. She was addressing all the three girls in the group by asking them if they wanted to be
