The articles that I summarized help incorporate standards 3 and 6 into my professional portfolio at the Early Childhood Level. The artifact portrays my knowledge regarding the importance the accommodations and modifications that need to be made to allow students the reach their full learning potential in the classroom. These summaries provide educators and parents the awareness and knowledge needed to help support students who may need more patience, instruction, and classroom support throughout their school years. As a future educator, I have valued my research and have educated myself of the accommodation and modifications needed to allow students with or without a learning challenge to succeed.
