My main reason to learn what participants thinks about the giftedness in early childhood. Therefore, interview is a great tool for me to achieve that goal. The semi structured interview are will be the center of this mini study, since guided interview allows researcher to follow format to utilize with all participants (Litchman, 2013). Even though the participants know the purpose of the interview, I will begin the interview by providing information about (a) why conducting the study, (b) what I will do with the information, (c) how long the interview will take. Then, I will start interview with the general personal questions in order to develop a rapport with participant. The open ended interview questions are composed under four

Miles, Huberman & Saldana (2014) suggest qualitative researchers to analyze data at the same time as collection of the data. Therefore, I will transcribe each interview immediately to start analyzing. In this way, I will not only find ways of collecting new and better data, but also start thinking about the existing data. My theoretical framework to analyze this data is Grounded Theory, which utilizes inductive sorting, and that allows the researcher to use data itself to make ideas theories (Galman, 2013). In order to reach most meaningful material, I will code each transcript by hand on the Microsoft Word`s Comment feature, which is under the Review tap. I will look at find data chunks in each transcript, which Saldana (2013) defined this process as a First Cycle coding, which has numerous approaches, but I will utilize descriptive and invivo coding. At first, I will apply descriptive coding, which is simply giving labels to data to summarize in a short phrase (Miles, Huberman & Saldana, 2014), in order to see the story the participants telling me. I will apply in vivo coding, which is utilizing the words of participants as codes (Miles, Huberman & Saldana, 2014). In this way, I will find their firsthand description about the issues we are …show more content…
This process will be beneficial to discuss the properties of the each code, when I employed expert view procedure. In addition, the memo will be a guidance for me during second cycle coding, in which the researcher finds the patterns in codes and categories or themes (Miles, Huberman & Saldana, 2014). I will select anecdotes to support those categories I will observe in the data. In this way, I will describe categories and how the data display the preservice early childhood teachers’
